About The Role The LRC Coordinator will strategically raise the profile of reading through the effective management of the Learning Resource Centre (LRC), taking overall responsibility for resource acquisition, stocking, management of targeted reading plans and student interventions. Working under the guidance of the Assistant Principal, you will directly support school improvement plans by driving ideas and initiatives to create a 'love to read' ethos and culture in school, also you will be implementing targeted reading plans to raise the standards of student reading ability. This role requires excellent communication and listening skills and the commitment to maintain respect and confidentiality across the centre. Key Responsibilities Strategically raise the profile of reading. Manage the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) effectively. Take responsibility for resource acquisition and stocking. Develop and implement reading plans and student interventions. Support school improvement plans and drive initiatives to create a 'love to read' culture.
