About the Position We have an opportunity for 2 Residential Social Care Workers (RSCW) to join our Adult Residential Care team in Hazel Grove. Hours – 37.5 hours per week (working 5 shifts each week over a 7‑day rota; candidates must have the flexibility of working any day of the week – including weekends). Starting Salary £24,700.00 per year (£12.67 per hour) with biennial increments. Salary Enhancement – Sleep in payment of £100.80 per sleep and a 25% uplift on the hourly rate for weekend shifts. Responsibilities Provide support for individuals with physical, clinical, health, emotional and social needs, promoting independence. Create a caring, safe, secure, and accepting environment that meets residents’ physical, health, social needs and rights. Deliver clinical support such as ventilation, tracheostomy care, gastrointestinal tract support and PEG feeding. Administer medication, move and handle residents, and provide personal care. Follow hospital care plans and complete and update required documentation. Assist with assessments of need and formulation of plans considering residents’ wishes, feelings and best interests. Carry out direct work designed to meet agreed care plans, enabling residents to reach their full potential. Attend meetings, supervisions/appraisals, training and annual residents’ reviews. Conduct community activities with residents. Maintain accurate records, complete written reports for planning meetings and statutory reviews. Perform domestic duties, including cooking and cleaning, in compliance with health and safety policies. Qualifications Previous experience working in an adult residential setting. Ability to work unsociable hours, including weekends. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to respond to the needs of the service and residents.
