Job Description Project Managers – Deliver Excellence with Egis UK Join the team that’s shaping the UK’s infrastructure future. As a Project Manager, you’ll play a hands‑on role in ensuring our capital programmes run smoothly and to the highest standards—while gaining exposure across sectors like rail, nuclear, and sustainable cities. Role Responsibilities Administer NEC3/4 contracts (Options A, C & E) from the client side Support budget control, forecasting, and defined cost planning Collaborate with QS teams on monthly valuations and payment certificates Assist in drafting contractual communications (EWNs, CE notifications, etc.) Conduct initial scope planning and feasibility assessments Assist in preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of submissions Contribute to risk identification and mitigation strategies Engage early with contractors during design phases Monitor project progress, cash flow, and expenditure Support delivery through change management and variation handling Participate in dispute resolution and final account preparation Ensure appropriate record keeping and contract compliance Help identify opportunities for process improvement and best practice Maintain project databases, visuals, and supporting collateral Contribute to internal reporting, governance, and delivery reviews Collaborate within a high‑performing team that values engineering excellence Access projects across sectors with real social and environmental impact Hybrid working flexibility and varied client exposure Structured development pathways—whether you’re targeting chartership, sector mobility, or sharpening delivery capabilities Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in a numeric discipline Experience in Civil Infrastructure Engineering Working towards Membership of a chartered body such as APM at MAPM Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card desirable Experienced user of the NEC3‑4 suite of contracts (A‑C‑E required) Right to work in the UK Subject to client interview and acceptance Allocation of 3 days in the client’s office (Midlands) Additional Information Location: We are open to basing these roles out of any of our major offices; travel to client sites may be required.
