Overview Bus Development Manager – Liverpool City Region Combined AuthorityLocation: No 1 Mann Island, LiverpoolContract: Permanent (Full‑time 35hrs/week) Responsibilities Lead the initiation, specification and commissioning of major bus and public transport schemes in the Liverpool City Region. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic transport plans, set key performance indicators and report on programme governance. Deliver key schemes, projects and programmes to expand the transport network and support future ambitions. Enhance the efficiency, sustainability and accessibility of public transport, driving improvements that improve quality of life for residents and visitors. Work closely with the Bus Rapid Transit and Development Manager, providing support and expertise across the project lifecycle. Qualifications Experience of designing, commissioning, implementing and leading transport‑related development schemes or projects. Strong stakeholder and project management skills, with a track record of working collaboratively with delivery partners. Proven ability to develop transport strategy, set KPIs and report regularly on programme governance. Excellent customer focus, problem‑solving ability and resilience to manage a challenging, diverse programme of work. Highly organised, adaptable and able to work at pace in a multi‑modal environment.
