Job summary Oncology Pharmacist | Pharmacy Department | Private Hospital | 26 hours per week, Part Time | Competitive salary + Excellent benefits | Worcester | Spire South Bank Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy department on a part-time basis. You will work alongside specialist oncology nurses and consultants to build rapport with our patients and ensure the highest level of patient care. Main duties Liaise with specialist nursing staff to ensure appropriate patient workload daily. Utilise your planning skills to ensure all chemotherapy medications are ordered and received ready for treatment. Pre‑assess patients, review test results and assess their safety to proceed to treatment. Review and release medications at discharge. Follow up calls with patients to review side effects and ensure they have all the support they need. Who we're looking for GPHC registered. Experience within oncology pharmacy is essential. Current dispensing and screening experience. Two years post‑registration experience in oncology desired. Contract & Hours Part time 26 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours between 08:30 – 17:30.
