Job Description As a Branch Operations Manager you will lead service delivery, providing an outstanding client experience while maximising overall drive and performance across a portfolio of clients within a given branch geography. Spanning a 2hr 30min radius from your base of Birmingham, you will bring a sharp eye for detail and a passion for getting the basics right—driving renewed process improvement and embedding operational excellence at every level. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership – Lead the delivery of protective services across a defined client portfolio, ensuring all contractual obligations are met with excellence. Financial Accountability – Jointly own the branch P&L with the Protective Services Development Manager, ensuring margin targets are met or exceeded. Service Excellence – Drive high‑quality service delivery through proactive planning, continuous improvement, and alignment with client SLAs & KPIs. Workforce Planning – Ensure resourcing, scheduling, and training of officers and employees support operational demands. Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, attending KPI/SLA meetings to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Performance Monitoring – Track and analyse branch KPIs across people, safety, operations, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Employee Engagement – Foster a culture of recognition, development, and high engagement, promoting Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. Succession Planning – Identify and develop talent within the branch to ensure long‑term capability and service continuity. Process Improvement – Champion a continuous improvement mindset, using data and business intelligence to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. Health & Safety Compliance – Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all policies, procedures, and training are adhered to. Collaboration – Work closely with the Protective Services Development Manager and support departments to ensure seamless service delivery and internal alignment. Strategic Contribution – Support the achievement of broader business goals by contributing to strategic planning and execution at the branch level. Qualifications Confident and empathetic leader with proven people‑management skills. Commercially aware with experience in P&L ownership, forecasting, and budgeting. Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Skilled in using data and business intelligence to drive performance. Flexible and adaptable – willing to work shifts to meet operational needs. Right to work in the UK plus 5‑year checkable work history. Excellent communicator with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
