Class 1 & 2 Drivers Wanted – ROYAL MAIL – Immediately Start Position: Class 1 & 2 Driver (PAYE only) for ROYAL MAIL Location: Coventry and Northampton, United Kingdom Responsibilities To deliver and collect goods Carry out daily checks and report any vehicle defects Maintain excellent communication skills and customer service when representing the company Adhere to EU driving legislation and the Working Time Directive Plan appropriately to ensure deliveries are made on time, manage workload and follow company policies and procedures Requirements Basic DBS check essential (we can help with application) Assessment and Induction (up to 6 hours) at Royal Mail will be provided A solid understanding of EU driving legislation and Working Time Directive (WTD) Hold a CE license for a minimum of 1 year and have recent HGV driving experience (at least 60 days in the last 6 months) with no more than 6 points on your licence Driver cannot have more than 12 infringements on the card over 6 month period Possess a valid digital tachograph card and driver qualification card Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently 5 shifts (10‑12 hour shifts) a week; weekend work also available Long sleeve Hi Viz required Benefits Competitive hourly rates available We work around your availability – a mix of shifts to suit your needs Weekly pay Honest, helpful and friendly office team 4 months contract (till February 2026) How to Apply If you're interested in becoming part of our team, we would love to hear from you Join us and be part of a dynamic team where your skills are valued.
