Role Overview We are looking for Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. The delivery model requires flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, assess and improve student work to meet learning outcomes. Develop, update and enhance course materials. Employ a variety of teaching methods and materials. Participate in staff development, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties. Keep up to date with developments in the field and student support practices. Work towards objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression. Qualifications Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the subject area. Extensive knowledge of the subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing feedback. Accurate reporting and maintaining thorough student records. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Ability to work with diverse groups of people. Desirable Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent (or commitment to enrol in a teaching programme and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent). Experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes or equivalent.
