Production Operative

Packing Operator Serioplast, Burton upon Trent, England, United Kingdom. The purpose of this position is to ensure products are produced according to quality and hygiene standards and to guarantee efficient material flow from/to the production floor, in accordance with company standards and procedures. Responsibilities Follow safety rules according to company policies and regulations (HSE Standards). Maintain order, organization, and cleanliness in all assigned areas, working in line with correct workplace hygiene practices. Ensure proper handling of raw materials, feeding hoppers and loaders with raw materials or bottles headed for labeling machine lines and post‑production materials. Ensure proper handling of finished goods, packing products correctly, according to client requests, using appropriate materials (boxes, trays, bags, etc.). Clean machines and wash bulks following company standards, coordinating with the machine operator and under the oversight of the shift supervisor. Report and record all machine stoppages in real time, informing the machine operator or shift supervisor when irregularities occur. Promote effective communication between team and manager, and interact with different business functions to drive a high‑performance culture. Technical Skills Basic knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment rules and practices. Personal Skills Accountability — accept responsibility, be accountable for results, and own mistakes. Problem‑solving — be analytic, frugal, and ensure quality without unnecessary complexity. Resilience and passion — maintain patience and tenacity, responding positively to challenges.
