Electrical Manager

About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to take the lead on a high-profile commercial project. This role involves managing all aspects of electrical works on site — ensuring safety, quality, and progress targets are met, while coordinating effectively with project stakeholders and other trades.

Key Responsibilities

*

Lead and manage all electrical activities on site, including supervision of electricians and subcontractors

*

Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and designs to ensure compliance and quality standards

*

Oversee installation works, carry out inspections, and maintain high standards of workmanship

*

Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and other discipline leads to coordinate site operations

*

Ensure full compliance with health & safety requirements, including reviewing RAMS and enforcing safe systems of work

*

Oversee testing, inspection, and commissioning documentation

*

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions

*

Manage snagging, defect resolution, and project handover documentation

*

Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets, and material usage

Qualifications & Experience Required

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Manager on commercial or industrial projects

*

Proven track record of leading site-based electrical teams on large-scale builds or fit-outs

*

Valid ECS Gold Card

*

SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or higher (SMSTS preferred)

*

Full UK Driving Licence

*

Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
