Overview Operations Support Analyst at John D Wood & Co. Key Responsibilities Performance & Results Monitoring: Use dashboards, KPIs, and metrics to track operational performance (e.g. transaction times, cost per transaction, risk vs. opportunities across our business), and report on how these affect business outcomes. Collect, clean, analyse data to identify trends, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies; propose improvements that lead to measurable benefits. AI Tools & Automation: Use AI tools (e.g. generative AI, automation platforms, workflow bots) to help with tasks such as root‑cause analysis, forecasting, content/document generation, pattern detection, and possibly automating repetitive tasks. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with other teams (IT, Marketing, Sales & Lettings front office, Finance, etc.) to align operational improvements with business objectives (e.g. reducing customer churn, improving customer satisfaction, increasing throughput). Reporting & Communication: Generate regular reports and business‑level summaries to show progress against goals; communicate upwards in a clear way, highlighting risks, opportunities, and outcomes. Support & Maintenance: Monitor KPI data for accuracy and flag any discrepancies or concerns to key stakeholders. Qualifications & Skills Some experience (0‑2 years) in operations, business support, junior analyst, or similar role. Comfortable using AI tools or platforms for text generation, automation, or analysis (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, workflow/automation tools). Strong analytical mindset: able to work with data (spreadsheets, basic SQL or BI tools), interpret results, spot trends. Good communication skills: able to translate analysis into clear action‑oriented recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.
