Role Description This full‑time, on‑site role based in Ashford is for an Experienced Chartered Rural Surveyor. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of rural property‑related work, including land valuation, property management, client advisory for sales and purchases, and handling rent reviews and utilities. You will also assist landowners with compulsory purchase matters, farm consultancy, and strategic evaluations. The role involves liaising directly with clients, undertaking professional reports and appraisals, and ensuring all assignments adhere to industry standards and client expectations. Qualifications Proven experience in land and property management, land valuation, and farm consultancy Comprehensive knowledge of rural surveying practices, including rent reviews, compulsory purchases, and utility matters Excellent client management skills and the ability to develop long‑term professional relationships Strong written and verbal communication for producing high‑quality reports, appraisals, and documents Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines independently Bachelor's degree in Rural Land Management, Surveying, or a related field Membership of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) with relevant qualifications as a Chartered Surveyor Experience in strategic planning and development consultancy is an advantage Working knowledge of relevant legal, environmental, and regulatory frameworks Proficient in using industry‑standard software tools and Microsoft Office Suite Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Management and Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
