About The RoleHours: 42 hours per week across a variety of shifts on a rotaLocation: Little Addington, NN14WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP.We are looking for a Children's Care Team Leader to join our team who has a passion for providing a high standard of support that enables young people to learn and develop through education and positive life experiences.The roleYou will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our young people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people supported and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.Facilitating social, educational and play or recreational activities of their choice. Supporting them to maintain contact with families or significant others is a key priority.The role requires you to undertake all aspects of day to day household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping. Roles may be withdrawn before the closing date if a successful appointment has been made.About The ServiceOur five-bed residential home for children, aged 5 – 17 years, is registered with OFSTED and offers services to young people who have learning disabilities, challenging behavior and complex needs. We are situated in the quiet residential area of Little Addington, close to local resources and facilities.The service offers each child their own bedroom and a range of communal living spaces including a large garden room which provides recreational facilities for them to create their own activities. This area is designed to encourage creative and sometimes messy projects.We also have an amazing sensory and calming room with lights, sounds and textures which are used together to create a stimulating, or calming environment.
