The role will involve you in managing the Environmental and Energy Management Systems and ensure compliance across all projects. Your responsibilities will include the management and reporting of carbon for the business. You will also collaborate with key stakeholders to make key decisions to influence design and build processes to ensure they meet sustainability standards. Our diverse and dynamic team plays a pivotal role in the Business key objectives on its road to Net Zero. Your skills profile should include: Substantial experience in a Sustainability/ Environmental role, at manager level Extensive knowledge of the UK Construction industry Working knowledge of building regulations, the design and build process, in particular in relation to sustainability issues Thorough knowledge of ISO14001 & ISO50001 Proficiency in LCA software (e.g., Oneclick LCA) Expert knowledge and hands‑on experience with carbon reporting (Scopes 1, 2 & 3) Experience in the following would also be of interest to us: BREEAM Assessor accreditation Working knowledge of other sustainability certification systems Knowledge of EU Regulations i.e. CSRD and EU Taxonomy Some of the key areas of responsibility: Strategy & Leadership Performance & Reporting Compliance & Risk Stakeholder Engagement Why Bouygues UK: Day in day out our teams deliver some of the most technically innovative and challenging projects across the UK and the world.
