Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant – Part Time (Temporary)

A friendly and diverse primary school in Brent is seeking a committed KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time, temporary basis from February 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to develop their experience in a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the class teacher in delivering fun, engaging KS1 lessons.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support, including working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Assist with behaviour management, learning activities, and classroom organisation.
• Encourage a positive, nurturing learning environment where pupils feel safe and motivated.
• Contribute to daily routines, safeguarding, and wider school life.
Ideal Candidate
• Experience supporting pupils in KS1 (school-based experience preferred).
• Patient, energetic, and passionate about primary education.
• Able to adapt to different needs and learning styles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, proactive approach to helping children achieve their best.
