The successful candidate will:Work within a multi-disciplinary team to manage waste and recycling operations.Engage with the public, elected members and council executives via phone and face-to-face interactions.Utilise literacy, numeracy and IT skills for electronic data recording, analysis and report writing.QualificationsExperience in a similar public or private sector environment within the waste and recycling industry.Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills for electronic data recording, analysis and reporting.Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.Ideally relevant professional body accreditations, CIWM.Salary and BenefitsSalary: £28,142 - £31,022 per annum depending on experienceHours: 37 per weekLocation: Cannock & StaffordshireBenefits:Flexitime Working SchemePayment Of One Professional Fee Per AnnumLocal Government Pension Scheme23 Days holiday and 26 after 5 years serviceCasual Car User AllowanceDiscounted Leisure Centre MembershipCycle SchemeFree Car ParkingInterested in an exciting career with a professional local council?
