They are on an ambitious journey to build the world's most advanced payment processing platform.Role Overview: Senior Business Analyst role focusing on enterprise payment systems implementation, requiring expert knowledge of global payment formats, schemes, and processing components.Key Technical Knowledge Required:SWIFT MT message series (MT101, MT103, MT202 incl. ACK/NACK flows)Fedwire and CHIPS formats, Regional ACH formats across different geographical regionsXML and JSON payment structures (API)Cross-border payment requirementsHigh-Value Payment Systems (HVPS)Message transformation servicesPayment routing enginesSanction screening integrationPayment warehousing systemsFormat conversion servicesPayment status trackingPayment repair workflowsReturn and recall processingDuplicate checking servicesKey Responsibilities:Requirements Documentation:Write detailed user stories following the Who/What/Why format to ensure clear business valueDevelop comprehensive scenario-based acceptance criteria using Given/When/Then frameworkPartner with clients to understand their treasury management challenges and translate these into detailed user stories and acceptance criteriaCreate clear documentation that traces from business requirements through to technical implementationEnsure all user stories are testable and aligned with business objectivesPayment Processing Design:Specify format transformation requirementsDefine payment routing rulesPayment Template creation and maintenanceDesign payment repair workflowsDefine payment status tracking requirementsIntegration Requirements:Payment gateway integrationBanking connectivity requirementsSanction screening integrationPayment networks connectivityPayment status messagingReturn/recall processingMinimum Qualifications:Minimum 7 years in Payment SystemsDeep understanding of payment formats and schemasExperience with payment transformation systemsKnowledge of payment market infrastructuresExpertise in payment processing componentsStrong background in payment integrationRequired Skills:Expert knowledge of global payment systemsDeep understanding of payment message formatsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellence in payment workflow designAdvanced documentation skillsMastery of user story writing and acceptance criteriaQualifications:Bachelor's degree in relevant disciplinePayment systems certificationsSWIFT certifications advantageousISO 20022 certification beneficialThe role offers the opportunity to shape sophisticated payment processing solutions while working with cutting-edge payment technologies.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Analyst, Information Technology, and FinanceIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting and Financial Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
