What You'll Do Support chefs in preparing and serving meals to residents. Assist in following IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) guidelines for textured diets. Help prepare meals in line with residents' care plans and dietary requirements. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety. Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept clean and compliant with food safety standards. Adapt to new care settings and work effectively as part of different kitchen teams. What We're Looking For Previous experience in catering or kitchen assistant roles, ideally within care homes or healthcare environments. Understanding of nutrition, special diets, and IDDSI standards (training can be provided). Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (essential). Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
