Senior Civil Engineer – Sevenoaks | £50–60k (DOE) | Hybrid

I’m working with a respected civil and infrastructure consultancy based in Sevenoaks, who are looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to their growing team. The company delivers a wide range of development infrastructure projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors, with a strong reputation for quality and technical expertise.

💼 The Role
You’ll play a key role in leading the design and delivery of adoptable highways and drainage infrastructure schemes, taking projects from feasibility through to detailed design.
Responsibilities include:

Designing and delivering schemes under Sections 278, 38, and 104 agreements
Preparing detailed highway and drainage designs using Civil 3D and MicroDrainage (or similar software)
Leading technical delivery and checking design work of junior engineers/technicians
Liaising with clients, local authorities, and statutory bodies to secure approvals
Supporting fee proposals and managing project budgets

🧠 About You

5+ years’ experience in civil or infrastructure design within a consultancy environment
Proven understanding of adoptable drainage and highway design standards
Confident with software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroDrainage
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering (or similar), ideally working toward or chartered with
ICE/CIHT
