Overview Role: Teaching Assistant Location: Chesterfield Salary: £90-£100 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications) Contract: Jan 2026 – July 2026 Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support to a pupil who requires additional help to access learning and achieve their full potential Work closely with the class teacher and the SENDCO to deliver tailored support and guidance Support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including needs such as autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs Requirements Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting A nurturing, patient and consistent approach Referenceable experience working in a school setting Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle About Source Supply Source Supply are local education recruitment specialists, with over 50 years’ experience working with schools and other education settings.
