Maximo Consultant II (Security Clearance Required) Location: UK (Hybrid / Remote / Office) Travel: 30% travel within EMEA. This role requires UK Security Clearance (SC). Candidates who currently hold or have previously held SC Clearance will be prioritised. Position Summary The Maximo Consultant II joining our team will align with business and IT stakeholders to translate business issues and requirements into best practice processes, blueprint, and functional specifications. This role is responsible for working on complex challenges to ensure deliverable quality and effective communication between technical implementation teams along with advising clients on their asset management or EAM system maturity. Responsibilities Provide technical guidance throughout the lifecycle of a project including development, testing, and deployment of technical solutions and ongoing support. Configure and customize client solutions applying knowledge of workflows, system configuration, and customizations to develop asset management technical solutions for customers. Deliver multiple projects which support the complex and demanding requirements of project delivery, ensuring timescales are met. Manage the facilitation/documentation of system design workshops, process reengineering workshops and the creation of project and system documentation including process maps, system requirements, data standards, and training materials. Act as an advocate for the end‑user within the project delivery team. Assist with coordinating data modelling and data collection activities. Oversight of development, testing, and deployment of technical solutions. Responsible for smaller work packages, as set by the Consultant Team Lead. Provide client support and training. Deliver high‑quality, value‑added results for both client and internal projects. Mentor and guide junior members of the team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or relevant training and/or experience. Appropriate professional software accreditations (e.g. IBM Maximo professional certifications). 3+ years’ experience in delivering projects in Maximo across multiple industries. Experience of managing 2+ high‑value or long‑term projects using diverse methodologies. Experienced in providing support to customers or end users. Knowledge of Project Methodologies would be advantageous (e.g., Agile and Waterfall). Understanding and knowledge of databases (DB2, Oracle, MSSQL). Experience with programming languages (e.g., Linux, Solaris, JavaScript, Python, SQL) would be advantageous. Desirable Agile DSDM Practitioner Certification. Maximo Mobile. Maximo Industry Solutions ACM, Maximo for Aviation & Transportation. BIRT Report Writing. Maximo Integration Framework. Maximo Application Framework.
