Overview Location: South Harrow, London Position: HLTA / Experienced Teaching Assistant Pay: 115-125 per day (negotiable) Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or a highly skilled Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain varied experience across year groups while contributing to a supportive and vibrant school community. Responsibilities Providing classroom support across different year groups. Delivering whole-class teaching to cover lessons when required. Supporting the delivery of engaging lessons to ensure pupils make strong progress. Using effective classroom management to create a positive learning environment. Adapting quickly to changing plans and maintaining a proactive approach. Candidate Requirements Be an HLTA or a very experienced Teaching Assistant with proven ability to lead classes independently. Have strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills. Be an excellent communicator who is reliable, adaptable, and confident.
