Our mission is to deliver responsive, expert materials consultancy, operating as a trusted partner to our clients. About the role Responsibilities Technical Quotation. Receive enquiries and produce suitable technical quotations listing key details, work proposal and costs to enable the whole enquiry to be passed to the technical team to deliver. Responding to all customer correspondence (internal / external), making outbound calls (lead generation) and supporting a shared email inbox. Accurately maintaining CRM with client information. Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to share ideas and maximise cross selling opportunities. Collaborating with the technical team to identify growth opportunities through new clients, new industries, new markets, new services & new accreditations. Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new trends. Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them. Meet agreed sales and profit targets through new customer acquisition. Requirements Technical background with 2+ years experience OR a degree in science, material science, engineering, metallurgy (essential). 2+ years’ experience in B2B sales (desirable). Able to generate own leads. Excellent customer service and communication skills. High attention to detail. Maintaining a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Is self-motivated and results driven. Is a resilient and reliable team player.
