Communications Lead 6 month contract Based in Belfast Offering £34.98ph Inside IR35 Do you have experience supporting a Merger and Acquisition process? If your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you About the role As the Communications Lead, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry. Responsibilities Play a key role in the establishment of Communications "set up" and outputs in Belfast, bringing local needs into alignment with the company's communications approach in the UK as appropriate Support the creation of interim and long-term internal communications tools and channels Work with the project team to define and deliver key messaging and communications materials during the transition phase Interact with wider UK and global communications team, and the public affairs team, to manage consistent messaging to external audiences Qualifications Experience in communications (internal, external, community relations) Experience of M&A comms environment, transformation and change Good understanding of Northern Ireland as an operating environment Comms plan definition and execution Strategic thinking Ability to connect with different stakeholders across functions and divisions Event management capability Understanding of local UK media and ability to engage effectively with them Understanding of community relations and ability to engage effectively with a wide range of neighbours Understanding of internal communications channels and ability to effectively engage with colleagues from across the business If this all sounds like something you will be interested in then simply apply and we can discuss the opportunity further #J-18808-Ljbffr
