We are looking for reliable, flexible and driven Senior Engineer / Geologist to join our Geotechnical team. As a member of Geotechnical, you will be exposed to a variety of unique projects throughout the country. It is key that you have the balance to be proactive and independent, while simultaneously being a strong team player. Good management skills, and a strong understanding with experience in the industry are vital in order to succeed in this role. Responsibilities The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): Day to day responsibility for planning, supervision and programming of ground investigation projects at locations throughout the United Kingdom Prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during the site works phase, as well as assisting with the managing the Health & Safety of operatives and promoting a safe working environment Liaise with clients / engineers / main contractors throughout the site works phase Compile monthly financial project accounts and assist the GI Projects Manager in maintaining the financial performance of projects Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: Qualified to degree level in a geotechnical discipline Full UK driving licence Have a minimum level of fitness required to undertake all site based tasks listed above on a variety of sites including active construction sites and linear projects for roads and railways 5 - 10 years relevant site and industry experience About Geotechnical Listed in the top 10 of the GETop 100 Geotechnical companies, our highly trained skilled Geotechnical team focus on understanding the site conditions for all UK construction projects.
