Seafront Senior Ranger Join to apply for the Seafront Senior Ranger role at BCP Council. From 1 December 2025, our refreshed Pay and Reward package comes into effect, bringing a new approach to how we recognise and reward roles across the Council. The salary for this role will change: pay range £38,220 – £46,142 (pro rata for part‑time colleagues). All new starters begin at the bottom of the pay band to promote fairness and consistency. Responsibilities Oversee all related operational functions, facilities and services with the Seafront Operations Manager. Manage the Seafront Ranger Service and seasonal staff. Maintain beach offices, public toilets, and ensure health & safety compliance. Supervise commercial services (land trains, lifts, piers, mini‑golf, furniture, etc.). Provide direct line management for Seafront Rangers and other staff as required. Candidates Must Have A degree in a relevant subject or evidence of equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in managing a complex service within a large organisation. Proven experience in managing large‑scale seasonal visitor attractions or similar environments. Strong leadership and customer service skills. Health & safety management experience. Experience delivering projects and service enhancements. Experience managing budgets and procurement exercises. Applicants must have a full and valid driving licence.
