What is the FD+1 Scheme?

Our FD+1 Programme is tailored to help you build on your foundation training with continued hands-on learning and dedicated clinical support, including:

  • Hands-on study days to enhance your clinical skills.
  • Dedicated Zoom sessions with our Clinical Lead for expert guidance.
  • A peer support network of fellow FD+1 dentists across the business.
  • Ongoing mentorship and development to help you grow in confidence.

Your Role & Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive dental care across NHS and private sectors, ensuring high clinical standards.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and foster strong, lasting patient relationships.
  • Achieve UDA targets that drive performance and unlock significant earning potential.
  • Capitalize on private income opportunities to maximize your financial rewards.
  • Collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

What We Look For
  • Hold a recognised dental qualification (BDS or equivalent) and be registered with the General Dental Council.
  • Possess a current performer number.
  • Be a newly qualified dentist looking for their next step after DFT or DCT.
  • Demonstrate excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
