The school prides itself on fostering creativity, resilience, and academic progress through innovative teaching and a child-centred approach.Key Responsibilities:Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND.Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets.Create an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment.Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support each pupil’s progress.Contribute to the school’s wider life, ethos, and commitment to continuous improvement.Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Proven experience teaching pupils with special educational needs, preferably within a specialist setting.Strong knowledge of SEND strategies, interventions, and curriculum adaptations.Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.A positive, patient, and resilient attitude, with a commitment to inclusive education.The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A supportive working environment within an established, award-winning education group.Applications are welcomed from both experienced SEND teachers and talented mainstream teachers with a passion for special education.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
