Role Description This is a full‑time Estimator role based at our Stansted office. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for construction and refurbishment projects, analysing project requirements, reviewing drawings and specifications, and coordinating with the design team, supply chain suppliers and subcontractors. Additional responsibilities include preparing tender documents for submission, representing the company at tender interviews and presentations, and assisting in value engineering exercises. Collaboration with other construction teams will be key to successfully delivering high‑quality and cost‑effective solutions to clients. Qualifications Proficiency in cost estimating, budget preparation and tender documentation Familiarity with construction standards, materials and methods Ability to analyse drawings, specifications and project requirements Strong organisational, time management and problem‑solving skills Proficiency in using estimating software (Causeway) and Microsoft Office tools Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with suppliers and subcontractors Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost calculations and project proposals Relevant experience in the construction industry, with a background in estimating and project planning Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessment processes Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Confidence in participating in client presentations and interviews Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Management and Manufacturing Industries Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
