Technical Coordinator – Stevenage

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Package
Location: Stevenage

An established, dynamic Residential Developer with a strong reputation within the construction industry who specialize in delivering quality homes. They work with both the public and private sector and offer bespoke design and build projects in exclusive locations, including multi-million-pound mansions.

Due to growing success and innovative business, they are currently seeking an ambitious experienced Assistant Technical Coordinator on a permanent basis with previous experience within the Residential Sector working for a Main Contractor or Developer.

Role Purpose

To manage and liaise with external consultants and statutory bodies. Overall responsibility for Design Development on land led and traditional design and build and contract opportunities up to and including start on site.

Responsibilities

  1. Obtaining quotations from consultants and survey companies and providing recommendations for approval.
  2. Management of external consultants.
  3. Applications and submission of information as required.
  4. Management of consultants to prepare working drawings.
  5. Management of design development to ensure statutory compliance.
  6. Prepare and control preconstruction design programs.
  7. Ensure sign off of drawings in line with agreed process.
  8. Obtain utility quotations and designs.

Personal Specification

  1. Five years' experience, professionally qualified from a technical background.
  2. Experienced in working on Residential projects of Houses and Apartments.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills that enable effective communication.
  4. Building/construction related Degree.
  5. Holds a CSCS card.
  6. Strong and effective leadership skills.
