We have big plans to continue growing the business, our products, our technology and our people.About The RoleWe’re looking for a motivated People & Talent Adviser to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for managers and employees, providing clear, practical advice on a wide range of HR matters. You’ll take ownership of key processes including onboarding, probation, right-to-work compliance, while ensuring our HR systems and reporting remain accurate and insightful. You’ll also play an active role in shaping learning and development opportunities, and driving continuous improvement across the People & Talent function.You will be part of a small but energetic and enthusiastic team that focuses on people operations, talent acquisition and learning and development. This role will provide an opportunity to work across all of these functional areas.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the first point of contact for managers and employees on people-related queries, continuously monitoring our central inboxMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across HR systems, including the employee database and employee filesPreparing documents such as employment contracts, change letters, employee reference requestsCompleting the administration of onboarding of new hires such as right to work documents, information for payroll processesSupport with visa and immigration matters, ensuring compliance with right-to-work legislation and maintaining accurate recordsRunning the induction and onboarding of new hires, including background checks and liaising with IT operationsManage and monitor the probation process for new employees, providing guidance to managers on reviews, extensions, or confirmations of employmentCompleting the administration of offboarding employees such as exit interviews, leaver letters and information for payroll processesSupport and lead low-level employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, and capability casesPreparing monthly and quarterly employee data reportingSupporting with ad-hoc and regular information requests regarding employee dataAssist with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiativesSupport the Head of People Development with coordinating learning & development initiatives and maintaining our learning & skills platform, ThriveSupporting the performance review process ensuring information in our review tool is accurate and up to date and providing departmental reports to our Senior Leadership Team.Provide full support to the team with ad-hoc tasks and project based workIdeally we are looking forNumerate and comfortable working with detailAbility to use Microsoft Excel for reportingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloadGreat customer service skills and calm under pressureProactive and can use their own initiativeCurious, keen to get involved and takes responsibility for their learning and developmentConfident, collaborative and a team playerCIPD qualified, desirable but not essentialAbility to work within a fast-paced environmentBenefits & PerksCompetitive salary + company bonus schemeHybrid working policy️ 25 days holiday (increasing with the length of service)Private healthcareEnhanced parental leaveMatched pension contributions up to 4%Critical illness coverEmployee Assistance Programme & Mental Health supportLife assuranceRegular performance reviews to promote a culture of growth and developmentLeadership training for managersGive as you earn scheme for charitable donationsSupport for attending conferences and professional learning & developmentDiscounts via PerkboxCycle to work schemeSeason ticket loanElectric car loan schemeMonthly socials & annual offsiteDiversity, Inclusion & Belonging at LendInvestAt LI we believe in bringing your whole selves to work, we are committed to a culture of belonging where individuals can form a genuine community.
