Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner (APP) Join to apply for the Advanced Physiotherapist Practitioner (APP) role at Practice Plus Group. About The RoleUNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFEMAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR EVERY PATIENT An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP) to join our clinical team at the Practice Plus Group MSK & Spinal Service, Lincolnshire on a permanent full or part time basis. We provide a specialist rapid access outpatient clinical assessment and treatment service for patients presenting with both peripheral and spinal musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with our experienced clinical team, including the Clinical Operations Manager, Clinical Lead and a team of 9 Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, and have the opportunity to work with our Orthopaedic Consultants. We currently operate within seven existing health centres and hospitals throughout Lincolnshire and are developing further locations throughout the region. We have clinics in Lincoln (North Hykeham), Louth, Skegness and Boston. Depending on your hours, you may be asked to travel between these locations, so having a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. Expenses for travel will be covered. What you'll be doing Managing a case load of spinal and peripheral patients with varying diagnosis and/or highly complex needs using evidence based and/or patient centred principles. Being responsible for organising appropriate diagnostic workup for patients and referring them to a suitable secondary care service when indicated. Working closely with the Clinical Lead and Clinical Operations Manager to achieve service targets, including supporting clinical education and audit. Acting as a source of expertise, by providing advice to patients and other healthcare professionals, GP’s and Consultants. If appropriately qualified, perform steroid injections as appropriate. What we'll look for in you Qualified HCPC physiotherapist. Peripheral joint/soft tissue injection qualification is desirable, not essential. Full UK Driving Licence. Access to your own transport. Previous experience in orthopaedic triage, APP or First Contact Practitioner roles. 5 years’ experience including MSK and outpatient roles. Full-time or part-time permanent role; up to 37.5 hours per week available. What You Can Expect In Return A full-time equivalent salary of up to £59,750 per annum depending on experience.
