You’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with one or a few clients in your local area.Your role will involve ensuring that each client receives person‑centred care and helping them lead fulfilling and happy lives.What does a rapid response complex care assistant do?Being a rapid response complex care assistant is rewarding and fulfilling, and you’ll cover a wide range of tasks. Throughout, our nurse managers and field care supervisors will ensure you have the knowledge and skills to provide safe, effective care.Day‑to‑day tasksA rapid response complex care assistant’s daily tasks may include supporting clients with personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, activity planning, and community access.You may also provide clinical support, including tracheostomy, PEG, and ventilation management.When required, you may assist with light household duties and preparing meals.Supporting clientsOne of the most rewarding aspects of being a rapid response complex care assistant is the ability to make a tangible difference in clients’ lives.Our rapid response complex care assistants help clients achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives.
