With a reputation for craftsmanship, precision, and quality, they are expanding their commercial team and seeking a proactive Materials Buyer to play a key role in the delivery of some of the capital's most desirable homes.The RoleAs Materials Buyer, you'll be an integral part of the commercial team—working closely with Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, and Site Managers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials. Your work will directly impact project timelines and budgets, helping to maintain the company's impeccable standard of delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and procure materials in line with project requirements and budgetsDevelop and maintain strong supplier relationshipsMonitor and manage material lead times to ensure site teams receive supplies on scheduleNegotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure best valueRaise and manage purchase orders and track deliveriesWork collaboratively with site teams to understand upcoming needs and resolve supply issues swiftlyMaintain material schedules and assist in cost reportingIdentify potential cost savings without compromising qualityWhat You'll NeedA minimum of 3 years' experience in a materials buying role, ideally in the high-end residential sectorStrong understanding of UK construction supply chains and building materialsA stable and consistent employment history within the UK construction industryExcellent negotiation and communication skillsHighly organised with an eye for detail and a proactive attitudePackage & BenefitsCompetitive salary from £35,000 to £45,000 (depending on experience)Opportunity to work on prestigious, design-led residential projectsSupportive, experienced commercial team with a focus on collaboration and qualityCareer growth and progression in a well-regarded businessFor further information apply with a CV. #J-18808-Ljbffr
