If you perform then we will reward you with an attractive remuneration package but also a lot of flexibility of working hours working from home and part time working Join us to make Engineering work Profile Summary We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Principal Lead Process Engineer with over 10 years of experience in delivering complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects. Proven ability to lead process engineering teams drive technical excellence and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee process engineering activities across all project phases from concept to commissioning. Manage and mentor a team of process engineers ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines. Interface with clients, project managers and other discipline leads to align engineering scope and execution strategy. Approve and validate process design documents, simulations and calculations using tools such as Aspen HYSYS, UniSim or similar. Manage process safety through active participation in HAZOP, LOPA, SIL and other risk assessments. Implement and enforce change control procedures ensuring budget and schedule impacts are clearly communicated and managed. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the process discipline promoting innovation and operational efficiency. Support business development and proposal efforts by contributing technical expertise and estimating discipline scope. Qualifications & Skills Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering (Chartered Engineer status preferred). 10 years of experience in process engineering with at least 5 years in a lead role within EPC / EPCM environments. Strong working knowledge of cross-discipline interfaces (Mechanical Piping EC&I Civil Automation). Expertise in process simulation design and safety engineering. Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills. Strategic mindset with a clear vision for transitioning into engineering management.
