Our client, a leading engineering company in Retford, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer with a strong project focus. This is not your typical support role - you will act more like a Project Engineer, collaborating across multiple departments including Technical, Design, Projects, and Commercial. You will play a key role in supporting innovative engineering solutions, working on complex control and electrical systems in an aquatic environment. Key Responsibilities Act as the electrical point of contact across multiple departments, supporting project delivery. Liaise with Technical, Design, Projects, and Commercial teams to ensure project requirements are met. Provide engineering support to resolve technical challenges and assist with system development. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination to meet deadlines and budgets. Review technical documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations. Support the preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Troubleshoot electrical or control systems as required. Requirements Experience in electrical, control, or general engineering environments is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across multiple teams. Experience with project coordination or support is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CAD or electrical design software experience is beneficial but not essential.
