Job Details

JobMatcha are recruiting for a hard-working Site Engineer for a civils project we are involved in based in Thurrock, Essex. The role will be primarily setting out works.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Construction Managers on the construction of a new Asphalt plant and associated storage buildings and roads.
  • Assisting with raising permits to dig and controls (surveys).
  • Drainage QA Checking.
  • Level Surveys / Datums.
  • QA Checking of Road construction.
  • QA Checking for Slab Reinforcement concrete pours and settlement monitoring.
  • QA Checking of Sub-Contractors Instruments, ensuring checks are carried out and calibration is correct before use on site.

Key Information:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Location: Thurrock
  • 2 months work

Competencies and Requirements for the position:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK
  • Must have a valid CSCS Card
  • SMSTS
  • Experience as a Site Engineer
