We are looking for a hands‑on, detail‑driven Data Centre Technician to support the day‑to‑day operations of our mission‑critical infrastructure on a 12 month contract. You’ll be responsible for maintaining hardware, monitoring systems and ensuring uptime across our data centre environment. This role suits someone who’s technically adept, safety‑conscious and thrives in a fast‑paced, physically active setting. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain servers, network equipment, and cabling Perform routine hardware checks, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance Monitor environmental controls (cooling, power, humidity) and respond to alerts Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues, escalating when necessary Manage inventory of equipment and spare parts Support remote hands requests and coordinate with internal teams and vendors Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols Document procedures, incidents, and asset movements accurately Requirements Experience in a data centre or IT hardware support role (1–3 years preferred) Strong understanding of server hardware, networking basics, and cabling standards Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote monitoring tools Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 25kg) and work in physically demanding environments Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or DC‑specific training are a plus Benefits With Myn, you gain a trusted partner dedicated to helping people excel in their careers, connecting you with forward‑thinking employers and impactful projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
