4 and 5 Axis Machining Centre Setter/Operator – Nights and Weekend Nights Pay Range: £16.45 – £19.71 + Benefits.Band 4:6: £32,077 to £38,444 fully depending on experience. The Company: Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions is the preferred supplier to Mazak. Job Description Setting and operating 4‑ and 5‑axis machining centres. Producing a wide and varied range of highly tolerant parts used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines. Understanding Mazak CNC controls and offering improvement ideas. Working within a team of fellow engineers under strict health and safety guidelines. Promoting a positive culture through engagement in H&S improvements and kaizen initiatives. Essential Criteria Understanding of milling/machining centre machines. Experience safely setting and operating automated CNC loaded machine tools. Experience with cutting tools, fixtures and measuring equipment. A can‑do attitude. Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment. Desirable Criteria Ability to edit and alter CNC programs. Completion of a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
