Tesco Colleague Nights - Pembury Superstore Tesco Royal Tunbridge Wells, England, United Kingdom Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores inside the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but we also provide flexible options down to 12 hours per week. We will schedule your contracted hours within the availability windows shown below. You’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. We’re happy to support flexibility if your availability matches closely to our advertised windows. Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services in the store. Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas as required. Applying training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly. Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines that meet their needs. Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere. Understanding the store’s performance and contributing to service, sales and profit. Handling products with care to maintain quality. Living the values, welcoming everyone and following policies. Accepting deliveries into the store, when required. Requirements A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride. The ability to build rapport with customers so they leave the store with a great shopping trip. Initiative and decision‑making that benefit customers. Strong teamwork and open communication.
