Looking for your next full-time opportunity?Protocol Education is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Tower Hamlets area, who are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students aged 11–16 across a range of subjects. You’ll work alongside experienced teaching staff to help deliver high-quality lessons, provide targeted support to students who may need additional help, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact on students’ academic and personal development.Key Responsibilities:Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective classroom activities.Provide one-to-one support or small group support to students with additional learning needs.Assist with preparing lessons and classroom resources.Encourage student engagement and assist with promoting positive behaviour.Monitor and record student progress, reporting back to teaching staff.About you:Previous experience in a school or similar educational setting is highly desirable.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Patient, adaptable and proactive in your approach.A team player who is willing to learn and take initiative.A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) is beneficial but not essential.Position Details:Full-time roleBased in a secondary school in Tower Hamlets.Excellent transport links and supportive staff.Ongoing opportunities for professional development and training.If you're looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in students’ lives, we’d love to hear from you.
