You will work 22.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8am until 4pm.Working alongside an established team, you will turn your hand to all maintenance‑related tasks, liaising with contractors to support the upkeep of the service.As you help the service to focus on improving the wellness of others, it’s our job to take care of you. As an Elysium employee, you will have continuous access to inclusive training, staff perks, and career progression tailor‑made for you.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeParticipating in a 1 week retaining on‑call rota for the purposes of emergency maintenanceEnsuring a high standard of maintenance is achieved in all areasEnsuring that all aspects of health and safety and operational policies and procedures are adhered toSupporting the completion of PPM checks on a daily, weekly and monthly basisEnsuring good practices of health and safety are followed.Co‑ordinating and supporting contractors whilst on siteEnsuring the completion of all contractor paperwork and tool checks on entry/exit of the siteCompletion of individual tool checks in line with local proceduresEscorting of contractors whilst on site and complying with security requirement’sCompleting allocated individual tasks – Maintenance Requests which will include repairing/replacing any broken/damaged item within the general building trade.Ability to work as part of a team and work on own initiativeReviewing daily work sheets and prioritising tasks accordingly and complete as directedCompleting maintenance security checksTaking care of all internal and external gardensTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will NeedFull driving licence with no more than 3 pointsBasic numeracy and literacyGeneral building trade experienceAbility to paint and decorateTo be helpful with a “can do” attitudeAbility to adapt – be practicalTo be conscientious and team focusedYour own transportFace to face experience of dealing with peopleAbility to work under pressure, and responding to the Maintenance Manager instructionWhat You Will GetAnnual salary of £25,058 (pro rata)The equivalent of 33 days annual leave – plus your birthday off (pro rata)Free meals and parkingWellbeing support and activities to help you maintain a great work‑life balance.Career development and training to help you achieve your career goals.Pension contribution to secure your future.Life Assurance for added peace of mind.Enhanced Maternity Package so you can truly enjoy this special time.There is also a range of other benefits including retail discounts, special offers and much more.About Your Next EmployerYou will be working for an established, stable and agile company with over 8,000 employees and a unique approach to the delivery of care.
