In doing so the post holder will further nurture positive relationships with stakeholders across our rugby community, help grow the clubs part-time coaching workforce and build capacity within Saracens community rugby operations. The successful individual will be relentlessly positive in attitude towards clubs, schools and other external stakeholders and deliver an unparalleled level of service, ensuring that the Saracens values of Honesty, Discipline, Work Rate and Humility are entrenched in everything they do.This a full-time position, based at StoneX Stadium with a hybrid/flexible working pattern and also being outside in local schools/camps when holiday camp delivery is scheduled.Saracens is an inclusive, people first organisation. (You can read more about diversity and inclusion here ).DETAILS·JOB TITLE: Next Generation Mens Rugby Engagement Executive·LOCATION: StoneX Stadium, Greenlands Lane, Hendon, London, NW4 1RL·REPORTING TO: Community Partnerships Lead·KEY STAKEHOLDERS:All internal departments, external stakeholders including participants and sponsorsWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING·Manage & Deliver Matchday festivals and activation operations·Deliver Fan engagement events not limited to but including camps/clinics/TWTPs·Support club and school partnership Delivery & Development underpinning the department commercial strategy·Deliver coach education programme across the Partners club and school network·Deliver in schools to support academy structure·Identify and deliver in schools where fan engagement could be reached·Identify opportunities to develop fan engagement·Driving Saracens fandom or relationship through, including but not exclusive to, follows on social, signing up to Database/CRM program.YOU SHOULD APPLY IFQualifications·England Rugby Coaching Award/Level 2 Rugby Coaching Award·Play It Safe·RFU Introduction to SafeguardingSkills·Experience of Leading & Managing a team of coaches·Experience of working within a team environment·Proven ability to develop new opportunities through own self-motivation and drive·Have coached rugby teams at age grade level·Strong ability to communicate with all levels of customer internally and externally both written and verbal·Good understanding of budget management to ensure margins are met·Exceptional listening and questioning skills to identify and truly understand customers’ needs·Outstanding understanding of rugby and ability to talk at length and in detail about all aspects of the game·A ‘people person’ with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships·Good communicator and facilitator with excellent presentation skills including ICT capability·Able to multi task and manage workload effectivelyExperience·Working within a sales team in sport·Strong existing network of rugby contacts·Outstanding understanding of rugby and ability to talk at length and in detail about all aspects of the game·You have excellent written and verbal communication skills (attention to detail is essential)Personal Characteristics·You have a relentless focus and are a great team player who has a good sense of humour·You thrive in and promote a culture of hard work, discipline, honesty, and humilityto deliver results·You manage projects, activities, and resources effectively, assuming personal ownership and accountability for results·Proven ability to challenge and influence others·Ability to quickly build professional, deep, long term relationships with stakeholders.
