Our client, a busy Franchised Car Dealership near Loughton, has the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their established workshop team.

Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
  2. Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements (depending on skill level)
  3. In-depth Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics (depending on skill level)
  4. Warranty Repairs
Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  2. 1+ year Post Apprenticeship experience
  3. Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

  1. Car Vehicle Experience
  2. Manufacturer or IMI Accreditations / Qualifications
  3. Franchised Dealer Experience
  4. MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7) - If not, you will be helped to qualify
Remuneration & Benefits

Basic Salary of £32,000 depending on skill/experience
On Target Earnings of £40,000
Paid Overtime
Manufacturer Training
Great benefits package

Working Hours

8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Saturday morning 8am till 1pm as per rota
