Follow The Link Below For a Flavour Of Some Of Our Recent Projects And The Type Of Work And Opportunities That Are Availablehttps://pellfrischmann.com/sector/waterMain Duties And ResponsibilitiesYou will join an established team of Water Engineers, supporting multidisciplinary design schemes, to assist with the delivery of projects within the Water sector, as well as providing support to a group of highly motivated, developing Engineers and Technicians.Projects vary in size and complexity and may involve optioneering, outline design or detailed design. The work may be directly for the water companies or via a Contractor as part of a design and construct contract.Duties Are Likely To Include The FollowingPerform technical or professional work activities to assure delivery which meets client requirements and is in accordance with relevant standardsTake a lead role for your discipline on your projects and preferably the lead designer roleCollate plans and schedules and monitor work to meet deadlines, company quality assurance and other requirementsLiaise and engage with clients and third parties as requiredSupervise and delegate to other members of staff as requiredCheck / approve own and other staff work, including third party design proposalsTake a leading role in promoting health, safety, welfare and sustainability/environmental matters in all areas of your workWhat Qualifications, Experience & Skills are required?EssentialPreferredQualificationRelevant Civil Engineering degree or experienceChartered/incorporated or working towards thisFull driving licenseExperienceWorking for water industry clientsRelevant design experienceSkillsCommunication skills; Verbal & WrittenMotivated with a positive attitudeUse of Microsoft OfficeUse of CAD / Revit and a working knowledge of BIMWorking knowledge of sustainable practicesHydraulic calculations, including use of Hades softwareWorking knowledge of BS7671Why Pell Frischmann?We are one of the UK's most influential and highly respected firms of infrastructure and built environment professionals.
