Date: 5 Dec 2025 Business Unit: Plasma Technology Location: Bristol, GB, BS35 4GG Key Responsibilities Provide technical assistance on product engineering issues on released platforms, investigate design or customer issues, identify root causes, use PT methodology 8D RCA, collate evidence, support new build documentation, interrogate BOM, ECO, DP. Support product improvements and product correction validation, implement improvements to current released products, develop test documentation, advise production engineering, support corrective action requests, provide feedback to design team, keep documentation up to date. Ensure quality is at the forefront, monitor, report and optimise product quality, react to quality notifications and customer feedback. Education / Qualifications HND or higher (Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic disciplines). Professional Skills / Abilities Substantial experience in electro‑mechanical systems production engineering environment – preferably small batch, high technology system integration. Experience in a fast‑paced operations environment. Commercial awareness. Knowledge of Design validation methodologies, such as Design for Manufacture, Design for Assembly and Design for Service. Problem‑solving skills. Recent and practical experience of mechanical and electrical assembly.
