Pet Surgeons, we handle a diverse range of intriguing orthopaedic cases, including complex fractures, total hip replacement, angular limb deformities, and advanced spinal and soft tissue surgeries. As part of our Specialist-led team, you will join 5 Surgeons (3 Specialists) and 3 Surgical Interns, providing a unique opportunity to enhance your surgical and anaesthesia skills and knowledge under the guidance of true experts.Work with cutting-edge facilitiesIt is our mission to make specialist surgical care more accessible. We are located on the Orbital Industry Park, just off junction 4 of the M621 and 1.3 miles from Leeds train station. Our purpose-built practice houses 2 fully equipped operating theatres, CT, digital radiography, arthroscopy, ultrasound, multiparameter monitoring equipment, separate dog and cat wards, and in-house laboratory.With a team of skilled veterinary surgeons and support staff, we strive to create a compassionate and nurturing environment for both our patients and their owners. As a well-established practice, we are committed to continuous learning and professional development. We have 5 Surgeons (4 Specialists), 2 Residents, 4 Surgical Interns, 15 RVNs, 5 ACAs, and 8 Support staff.Working patternThis is a full-time position, offering 40 hours over 4 days with a 1:3 on-call commitment.What we’re looking forWe encourage applications from candidates who are RCVS, American, or European Boarded Diplomates or those who are residency trained.
