Based at the buzzing Thames Enterprise Centre in East Tilbury, youll help businesses with everything from high‑speed Wi‑Fi installs to innovative IT solutions that keep them running smoothly. In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job Support IT security processes including password resets, user access, group policies, multi‑factor authentication, antivirus monitoring, and encryption. Provide technical support to staff and clients via phone, email, messaging, video calls, and the Autotask ticketing system. Use troubleshooting tools to diagnose and resolve IT issues. Install, configure, and upgrade hardware (PC components, network devices, peripherals) and software (OS, Office suites, productivity and monitoring tools). Apply software updates, security patches, service packs, and driver updates across physical, virtual, and remote systems. Work with wired and wireless networks to troubleshoot connectivity, configure devices, and maintain secure access. Gain exposure to cloud technologies, supporting cloud applications and storage solutions. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Benefits Salary: £15,600 per annum. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm. 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays. Skeleton staff during the Christmas period. Eye test contributions. Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge Confident communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Ability to organise your workload. Problem solving skills. Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths.
