Mental Health Nurse

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join the team at Kingswood House, a specialist community-based service with nursing for people with a learning disability and those who have autism. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works together to change lives for the better, while also developing your own specialist skills and making a real difference for some of the most vulnerable people in society. Main duties of the job As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will be responsible for providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. You will also be involved in mentoring and supporting team members, observing and reporting on service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided. As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will care for people with a learning disability and those who have autism, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. Your day-to-day will include: Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care Providing mentorship and support to team members Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided Skills and knowledge you will have: A relevant nursing qualification NMC registration Strong team‑working skills A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice Where you will be working Location: Kingswood House, Green Arbour Road, Thurcroft, Rotherham, S66 9ED A specialist community-based service with nursing for people with a learning disability and those who have autism.
