Tempest Resourcing is looking for exceptional individuals to join specialist SEN schools in Croydon, supporting pupils with complex needs.

About the Role:
You'll be joining dedicated SEN teams supporting children with a range of complex needs including ASD, PMLD, SLD, medical needs, sensory needs, and communication difficulties. Your role will be hands-on, holistic, and deeply rewarding-supporting pupils both academically and emotionally while helping them navigate the world around them.

Expect a role that involves creativity, teamwork, patience, and a willingness to learn. You'll work closely with teachers, therapists, and senior staff to shape meaningful learning experiences tailored to each pupil's development.

What You'll Be Doing:

Providing 1:1 and group support for pupils with complex needs
Assisting with sensory-based learning, communication tools (PECS/Makaton), and structured routines
Supporting personal care where required
Helping deliver personalised learning programmes and therapy-led activities
Creating a safe, nurturing and encouraging environment
Celebrating every milestone-no matter how smallWe're Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience in SEN, care, youth work, or a similar setting (school or non-school)
Is patient, resilient, and genuinely passionate about supporting vulnerable children
Can remain calm under pressure and adapt in fast-changing situations
Has strong communication skills and a caring, motivating approach
